The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at SDM Hospital provides specialized, round-the-clock care for premature babies, low-birth-weight newborns, and infants who need close medical attention immediately after birth. Our NICU is staffed by experienced neonatologists and specially trained nursing staff who monitor every newborn continuously.
Advanced incubators, continuous cardiorespiratory monitoring, and phototherapy units allow us to manage a wide range of newborn conditions on-site, minimizing the need to transfer mother and baby elsewhere. The NICU works closely with our Gynecology & Obstetrics team, so high-risk deliveries have immediate access to specialized newborn care from the moment of birth.
